The short version: we only collect what's needed to make your packing lists and to help you. We don't sell your information, show ads or use tracking cookies. Your company's data is yours, and you can download it or ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
- When you ask for a trial on this website: your name, company, email, phone (if you give it), what you ship and anything you write in the message. We use it to set up your trial and to contact you about it.
- When you use the app: your login email, your company's details (name, address, logo), your customers' shipping addresses, your product names, and your packing lists (box weights, lot numbers, dates and remarks).
- Passwords: handled by Google's sign-in service. We never see or store your password.
- On your device: the app keeps a copy of your company's data on the phone or computer, so it works without internet, plus small preferences like which weight unit you type in.
How we use it
- To run the app: saving and syncing packing lists, making PDF and Excel files, and letting the people you invite work together.
- To set up your company and help you when you ask.
- To contact you about your trial or account.
We don't sell or rent your information, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use analytics or tracking cookies.
Who can see your data
- People in your company that your company's admin invites.
- The PackTally administrator, to set up your company and give support (for example, importing your customer list for you).
- Service providers that store or deliver the data for us: Google Firebase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting this website and the app) and Formspree (the trial request form). They handle basic technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver the service.
Each company's data is kept separate: people in one company can't see another company's packing lists. Every login needs a confirmed email address, and data is encrypted while it travels over the internet.
Keeping and deleting your data
- Admins can download a full backup (packing lists, customers and products) from Settings at any time.
- We keep your company's data while you use PackTally. If you stop, ask us and we'll delete your company's data within 30 days.
- Trial requests from this website are kept only as long as needed to follow up.
Children
PackTally is a tool for businesses and isn't meant for children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for important changes, let account admins know.
